The silver-titanium collector coin commemorates 150 years of existence of the Banque et Caisse d'Épargne de l'État.

The observe bears a representation of the building of the Banque et Caisse d’Épargne de l’État, located 1 et 2 place de Metz, the indication “Banque et Caisse d’Épargne de l’État “, the dates “1856“ and “2006“ and the face value “10 Euro“.
The reverse depicts the effigy of HRH the Grand Duke Henri, as designed by the Luxembourg artist Mrs. Yvette Gastauer-Claire,and bears the indication "Lëtzebuerg" and the year 2006.
Minted in "brilliant uncirculated" quality, the coin has a smooth edge, a diameter of 26 mm, a thickness of 2,3 mm and weights 8g. The ring is made of 925 silver (5,9g) and the inner part is made of 999 titanium (2,1g). The coin is legal tender in Luxembourg with its nominal value set at 10 €.
