The coin presents following characteristics:
The obverse of the coin bears the portraits of Grand Duke Henri and Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume. The coin is issued on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of HRH the Hereditary Grand Duke. The coin shows the inscription regarding the editing state « LËTZEBUERG », the twelve stars of the European Union and the year of the issue « 2006 » ;
The reverse of the coin shows the common side of all the euro coins.
The coin has legal tender status (nominal value of 2 EUR) in the euro area starting from the publication in the European Official Journal.
This 2006 2 € commemorative coin, minted in "BU" quality, is contained in a coin card . The edition of the coin card is limited to 15 000 units.
