The silver collector coin commemorates the European Commission.
The observe bears the building "Berlaymont", the twelve stars, the indication "Commission européenne" and the face value 25 €.
The reverse depicts HRH the Grand Duke Henri, as designed by the Luxembourg artist Mrs. Yvette Gastauer-Claire, and bears the indication "LËTZEBUERG", the euro symbol "€" and the year "2006".
Minted in "proof" quality, the coin has a smooth edge, a diameter of 37 mm, a thickness of 2,2 mm, weights 22,85 gr and has a fineness of 0,925 silver.
The coin is legal tender in Luxembourg with its nominal value set at 25 €.
