Commemorative 2-euro coin

This commemorative issue is dedicated to the dynasty of the grand ducal family.

On this occasion, a "coin card", providing further information on the different monograms of the grand ducal dynasty, will accompany the commemorative coin. 10 000 coins will be edited and numbered individually.

The coin presents the following characteristics:

• The obverse of the coin bears the effigy of His Royal Highness the Grand Duke Henri and his monogram "H", topped by the grand ducal crown. A circular inscription "Henri - Grand-duc de Luxembourg" surrounds the effigy and the monogram, with an indication of the editing state "Lëtzebuerg" and the year 2004.
• The reverse of the coin shows the common side of all the euro coins.
• The coin has legal tender and status (nominal value of 2 EUR) in the euro zone.
