Silver commemorative coin

This commemorative coin is dedicated to the European Parliament.

The coin has the following characteristics:

• The obverse bears the logo of the European Parliament, the European flag, the indication "European Parliament" and its face value, set at "25 Euro";
• The reverse bears the effigy of His Royal Highness the Grand Duke Henri (work of the Luxembourg artist Mrs Yvette Gastauer-Claire), the indication "LËTZEBUERG", the euro symbol "€" and the year 2004;
• Minted in "proof" quality, the coin, with a smooth edge, has a diameter of 37 mm, a thickness of 2,2 mm, weighs 22, 85 gr and a fineness of 0,925 silver;
• The coin has legal tender and status in Luxembourg from the 15 July 2004, with its nominal value set at 25 euro.
