25 April 2012 - Financial Stability Review

To mark the release of the Financial Stability Review, the Banque centrale du Luxembourg will hold on 25 April 2012 a press conference to present, to an informed public and journalists, the main conclusions of its assessment of the Luxembourg financial system.

The press conference will be followed by a seminar dedicated to “Macro-prudential policy and indicators” during which several studies will be presented and discussed. Finally, a panel discussion session which this year is entitled: “Towards a national macro-prudential architecture and policy” will provide some insights to the audience for the design of a macro-prudential framework. The panel will be composed of eminent personalities from central banks, international institutions and universities.

Financial Stability Review Seminar

Description: On the occasion of the publication of its Financial Stability Review the Banque centrale du Luxembourg presents, to an informed public and journalists, the main conclusions of its evaluation of the Luxembourg financial system.

The Financial Stability Review will be published on 28 April 2011 and the press conference will be held on the same day. The press conference will be followed by a seminar during which the conclusions of the different studies related to financial stability topics will be introduced and discussed.

The initial part of the seminar will be dedicated to a discussion focused on liquidity and leverage, while the second part of the seminar will be in the format of a panel session on the adequacy of the new regulatory framework for crises prevention. This will involve the participation of international experts.

The press conference will be held in French while both the seminar and panel discussion will be held in English.

Venue: This event will take place at the Monterey building located at 43 avenue Monterey, L- 2163 Luxembourg.
