With the scientific survey “finance and consumption behaviour of Luxembourg resident households", the Banque centrale du Luxembourg (BCL) aims to assess the financial situation and the consumption patterns of private households in Luxembourg.
The survey is part of a European project, entitled “Household Finance and Consumption Survey�?, that is organised under the Eurosystem and managed by the ECB. Information on the distribution of wealth, debt and income of households living in Luxembourg is particularly important for a better understanding of the impact of macroeconomic shocks on our economy.
