Can I contact the BCL to obtain a copy of my data held in the central register of consumer credit?
In Luxembourg, there is no register or central database for consumer credit.
As the Central Bank of Luxembourg, our role is to contribute to the tasks of the European System of Central Banks and the European Central Bank. At present, these tasks do not include the management of a national credit register.
Consequently, we are unable to process requests or issue certificates relating to such a national credit register.
