Mission of the Banque centrale du Luxembourg foundation

The Foundation of the BCL aims to promote research and higher education in the BCL areas of activity. To this end, the Foundation will:

• finance public and private research, including at the University of Luxembourg,
• participate in research and teaching activities at research centers, the University of Luxembourg and other academic organisations,
• pay researchers and individuals contributing to its mission,
• grant scholarships,
• contribute to the financing of a professorship at the University of Luxembourg or other academic institutions,
• grant awards for excellence in this field.

The resources of the Foundation of the BCL will be used exclusively for the purposes as defined above. The Foundation of the BCL is independent of any political or ideological commitment.
