Confidentiality

The collected data will only be used for statistical and scientific purposes, to improve our understanding of the financial and consumption behaviour of households in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.

This information will serve to better inform monetary policy.

All data will be treated as strictly confidential, complying with:

• The statutes of the BCL (modified law of 23 December 1998 concerning the monetary status and the Banque centrale du Luxembourg) and in particular:
  • Art. 32 (2) concerning the collection of individual data and
  • Art. 33 concerning confidentiality.
• Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

Results will only be presented in aggregated and anonymous form.
